Onboarding, chasing and billing, handled for you. The professional judgement stays with your team.
Onboarding that takes a fortnight. Records chased three times over. Work that is done but never billed. None of it is chargeable, all of it falls to your fee earners, and in the management accounts it looks like nothing more than a busy year.
What this work costs your practice
The figures below start from an example practice. Replace them with your own to see what the time your fee earners spend on admin, chasing and rekeying is worth at your charge-out rate.
People who bill for their time.
A considered estimate is fine.
A blended rate across the fee earners above.
What that work costs a year
Fee-earner hours a year spent on work no client is billed for
What those hours would be worth at your own charge-out rate
This shows the size of the problem. It is not a saving we are promising.
Turning it into profit depends on two things: how much of the work a system can take on, and how much of the freed time your practice can sell. We can answer the first once we have seen the work. The second depends on whether there is client demand waiting for the extra capacity.
An estimate, because the hours are a judgement. The calculation: hours a week × fee earners × 46 working weeks × your charge-out rate.

The same engagement, step by step. Every check still happens in the same order, and a partner still approves. What changes is who does the gathering, keying and chasing in between.
What we build for accountancy practices
These are the problems practices raise with us most often. It is not an exhaustive list: discovery decides what your practice needs, and occasionally the answer is none of the below.

“Fusion AI took a process that was consuming hours of our time and turned it into something that runs on its own. Jack was professional and straightforward throughout, understood what we actually needed rather than what was easiest to build, and delivered it properly. The return was immediate and we would happily work with him again.”
Proved on your own work before it goes live
No system takes over any part of your operation on the day it is finished. It runs in shadow mode first, alongside the people doing the work today. It prepares the same onboarding files and drafts the same bills, but chases no one and issues nothing. Your existing process carries on exactly as before, so at no point are you relying on something unproven.
You can then set the records it would have gathered, the clients it would have chased and the bills it would have raised against what your practice did. Shadow running lasts as long as you want it to, on your own work.
When you are satisfied with the results, you decide when it goes live, and you can start with part of the work. From then on, the system does the work it has shown it can do.
